Contest Rules
Each month, a historic photo will be published in the Spruce Avenue Community League (SACL) newsletter and shared on its social media channels
Each historic photo will be of a location within 2 blocks of the boundaries of the Spruce Avenue community as it appeared in past decades
Scavenger hunt participants will submit photos of the same locations as they appear in the present via a dedicated Google Form or by emailing secretary@spruceavenuecommunity.com
The deadline for submissions each month is the 15th of the month AFTER the photo is shared by the League
Participants are not required to be Spruce Avenue residents. Any Edmonton resident is eligible to participate
Monthly prizes will consist of a $50 gift certificate to a local business each month
Winners for each month will be announced in the following month’s newsletter. Winners will also be notified by email
Winning photos will be published in the SACL newsletter, along with the names of the winners
All participants from May-September will be entered in a Grand Prize Draw to be held at the SACL Harvest Fest in September
